Policy scope

This policy explains how users should submit incident and service reports through the TIBS platform. For broader rules covering all user-posted content, including reports, feedback, notes, ratings, and uploads, also review the Content Posting Policy. It is designed to keep the reporting system useful for:
  • commuter awareness
  • transport safety transparency
  • route and corridor visibility
  • rider-facing service quality information

Acceptable report categories

Reports may relate to transport-related situations that affect:
  • passenger safety
  • ride quality
  • service reliability
  • transport awareness for other riders
Examples include:
  • dangerous driving
  • unsafe vehicle conditions
  • overcrowding
  • crew conduct affecting safety
  • service disruptions
  • fare irregularities
  • unsafe stop conditions
  • corridor safety issues

Key reporting rules

  • reports should be made in good faith
  • users should provide accurate context to the best of their knowledge
  • reports should focus on observable transport events
  • the reporting system must not be used for harassment, defamation, or false submissions
  • personal information should be minimized

Platform role

TIBS is an information-sharing platform. That means:
  • user reports are not automatically verified
  • TIBS does not determine legal fault
  • the platform is not a substitute for official reporting channels
